country of residence
The country of residence is central to the concept of the InterRail ticket. You pay [select your country of residence in the list bellow] percent of the normal fare in your country of residence, even if your InterRail ticket includes your country of residence. The country of residence is the country in which you have lived for the last six months. Your InterRail ticket will be made out to your country of residence.

For example, if your nationality is French and you have studied in Sweden for the last six months, then Sweden is your country of residence. Therefore you can travel in France for free, if your ticket includes this country. However, in Sweden, as it is your country of residence, you have to pay xx (see below) percent of the normal fare, even if Sweden is included in your InterRail pass.

You can also get an InterRail ticket as a non-European. Your country of residence must have been one of the following countries for the last six months:
