translation to russian language I've started my traveling abroad being 7 years old when my parents took me to the trip to Eastern Germany. There I've taken a gulp of foreign air that always tastes very different, and decided that the best joy in my life is to travel. Since then I try to use any opportunity to visit unknown places and alien land. That is why I like InterRail idea very much. I'm glad to help this project and make it available for Russian-speaking friends.
Axel Magnus Gaasø
translation to norvegian language Hi! I'm Axel and I'm born in 1989. I live in Tønsberg, Norway's oldest town,
just outside Oslo. All the way back since I was very, very small, I've been
fascinated with colours and just studying things with the eye. That's why I
love travelling and seeing all sorts of things: architecture, landscapes,
animals, plants, people - everything! Unfortunately, I've not been able to
travel by far as much as I'd like to, because my relatively big family can't
afford travelling far all of us. Now that I'm finally old enough, there's
been an accumulation of so much travel-hunger that I would like to see all parts of the world - and I'll start with Europe today... Good luck travelling, everybody!

translation to romanian language The InterRail ticket has taken me across Europe twice. Obviously enough there were actually two tickets that did that, but I just had to mention it. I intended it to be an inexpensive way of getting from where I was - Timisoara - to where I was going - Brussels. Along the way detours hijacked my rather short itinerary and I had my own share of blame in this matter. By the time of the second trip I had read the travel reports other interrailers had posted on the interrail.net website. My new itinerary had by then expanded to include stops in all the countries I was passing through. And friends were joining me.
I believe this website has been, for those who haven't seen it yet, the expected complement to the InterRail experience. Now you've seen it. Use it and enjoy the ride.

translation to hungarian language I've Interrailed only once yet: I travelled through Norway and Sweden, and the Interrail pass made it an unforgettable experience. It gives You
the freedom to discover as many places during your trip as You want! Travelling became my passion, there's so much to see out there...
Dawid Wiacek
translation to polish language Born in Poland, but my parents dragged me to the United States when I was barely eight. Although I now live in New York City, Europe is my first home, and I have been back many times. Traveling is great because it refreshes your body and, most importantly, stimulates your mind. And you get the chance to meet people from places you forgot existed. This summer (2006) I am InterRailing for the first time and loving it. You should give it a try. You won't go home disappointed.
Gulben Alkan
translation to turkish language Hello everybody! I'm Gulben and living in Istanbul, Turkey. I love travelling. Since you are reading this, I know you
love it too! I believe that the earth is a gift, full of amazing places to see, wonderful people to meet, various cultures to learn about and fantastic
experiences for everyone of us. I love travelling because it is the single best way to appreciate all at the same time what this gift offers to us. I m glad to be a part of the team, since it makes me happy to help young Turkish people to make their travel dreams come true. I wish, for all of us, a world with no boundries. good luck with your travels!!
Jennamari Terävä
translation to finnish language I was born in our little, cold, but oh-so-beloved Finland in 1987, and since then I've been a passionate traveller. I have made two interrail trips together with my friend, the first one in 2005 on the British Isles, and the second one in 2006 in southern Europe. In addition to travelling, I spend my free time studying languages, leading a first aid group, in theaters, scouting, dancing, downhill skiing, jogging, horseback riding - and sipping coffee with my friends. One day I wish I can work in a theater as a prompter or, perhaps, as an actress.
Kestutis Januskevicius
moderatior of the forum and translation to lithuanian language Hella iight everybody! Greetings from Lithuania! I'm here to make shure
InterRail spreads Europewide, even to the countries it's not active. Travel
- it's the engine of my life. The point of travel for me is not to reach
destination, but to travel - to be on the way, above the way, on the
railway! And for shure, InterRail is the best way - try it! Adventuring is
the most colorful way to live, because you'll get to know all the colors.
And it's better to regret for what you have done, instead of what you have
not done.

translator english Hello everyone! In the summer of 2007 I went on my first Interrail trip, which took me through the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Germany and France. I enjoyed it so much that one month after it was finished I decided to go on my second Interrail trip, this time through France, Germany and Italy. For altogether six weeks I was travelling on my own and it was a very interesting and insightful experience. I learnt many valuable things, met many friendly people and I didn’t have any problems with my ticket either. Now I’m studying in England, but I hope very much to go on further Interrail trips in the coming years. Buon viaggio!
Maria Eskjaer
translation to danish language I love to travel, and would like to do so much more in the future! It always strikes me how you can't even begin to understand what a culture is like, until you're there. I'm a graphic design student also into music and a lot of dancing ... Enjoy the site, and then - get out! :D
Marko Topalovic
translation to serbian language I like to travel because it fulfils me a lot. You never know what is going
to happen to you or who you're going to meet or what will you see. Most
probably faces and unbelievable places, which you'll most likely never
forgot. During these travels you listen to other peoples stories and
adventures. By meeting them in person, this enables you to judge both them
and their cultures a lot more realistically. What makes each travel unique
no matter if it's visiting the same place, even with the same people, just
being there gives you this incredible vibe, which not too many people can
experience.
Ruben Smits
translation to netherlands language I'm Ruben, born in 1988 in Latin America. After about 3 years I moved to the Netherlands, six months later we went to France and again six months later we moved back to the Netherlands, where I still live. At the moment I'm studying architecture at the Technical University in Delft. I like travelling very much, probably because of this history. In Europe I've been to most of the countries in the west and center, but not to very much in the east, north and 'deep' south. This summer (2008), I hope to do my first real InterRail trip and I would like to visit Scandinavia, the Baltic states, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Hungary (for the Sziget festival). It's all not sure, because it's pretty expensive and I'm only a poor student (so if you'd like to sponsor me ;)). I'm very interested in all kinds of cultural things like arts, movies, music, architecture, etc. I also like camping, walking and just being outside in the forest or something. Spread your wings and travel!
Stefan Edelbroek
moderatior of the forum I'm Stefan and I am born in 1988. My first (and until now my only) time i've been InterRailing was in 2005. It was a great experience, because of the freedom, the experience of other cultures and seeing the world. Except 'experienceing' the world, I do also like swimming and working at the local radiostation.
InterRail.net offers independent rail travel information since 1996. We are NOT an official website of any European rail company, not the official InterRail website. We are definitely independent!
